WPT takes Silver at the 2018 Wheels and Keels with the Ferrari 250 G.T. TDF…Competition was fierce and we certainly didnt mind being second to the Ferrari 250 LM….WPT had lots of compliments and positive responses about the car. WPT was happy to display the car and take part in the event. We appreciate the Boys and Girls Club We look forward to seeing all of our followers soon at another event. The World Preservation of Transportation is gearing up to participate in the Annual Keels & Wheels Concours D'Elegance, May 5 & 6th at Lakewood Yacht Club, Seabrook, Texas. Mark your calendar for this great event benefiting the Boys & Girls Harbor.

World Preservation of Transportation has purchased a mobile shower and restrooms trailer that will be shared and used for the homeless here in the Houston / Galveston area starting next year first quarter. The unit will have 2 private and totally enclosed complete shower and toilet areas to provide hot water and complete bathing facilities. We are excited to be able to provide this service on a regular basis. Our organization will be coordinating with local churches, other interested patrons and volunteers for locations soon.

Schumacher's Ferrari F1 car from 2001 offered for sale in New York

A Ferrari F2001 raced in period by Michael Schumacher will be among the headline offerings at the 2017 RM Sotheby’s New York auction, scheduled for Nov. 16 at Sotheby’s headquarters in Manhattan. RM Sotheby’s said the Ferrari F2001, chassis 211, is the “most important modern Formula 1 race car and is amongst the most significant and most valuable competition cars in any collection worldwide.” The F2001, which contested the 2001 Formula 1 World Championship, is the car in which seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher won the last of his five Monaco victories and in which he secured his fourth world title, with victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Chassis 211 is expected to fetch well in excess of $4 million. READ MORE

Our hearts and prayers go out the the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The World Preservation of Transportation has donated 5000 boxes to the flood victims and provided transportation and some temporary housing for victims in Beaumont area, Port Arthur and Houston.

The World Preservation of Transportation has donated to the Red Cross and we encourage all car and transportation enthusiasts to do the same for the folks in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. All of our cars are safe and we will resume the museum at a later date when the facility is safe and sound.
